KSC & MdVLA conclude briefing of Ocean City Boardwalk case before District Court

On Friday, November 17, 2017, David Wright (Kahn, Smith & Collins, P.A.) and Adam Holofcener (Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts) filed a memorandum that concludes briefing in the case of Christ v. Town of Ocean City, Case No. RDB-15-3305The case, brought on behalf of various Boardwalk performers, challenges severe restrictions on boardwalk performing imposed by the Town in 2015.  The performers contend the restrictions violate their rights under the First Amendment.
