About Me

David Diggs represents clients in divorce actions; child custody, visitation, and support cases; adoptions; guardianships; and paternity proceedings. He is a frequent lecturer before professional and community groups on these topics and he has authored numerous volumes focusing on these issues. Mr. Diggs is chair of the Family Law Section of the Maryland Association for Justice (formerly the Maryland Trial Lawyers' Association). He is also trained in the mediation of family law disputes and serves as a mediator for the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.

In addition to an active family law practice, Mr. Diggs represents clients in all areas of personal injury litigation. He has recovered sizeable awards for clients who have suffered serious personal injury and the death of loved ones as the result of vehicular accidents and medical negligence.

Mr. Diggs serves on the MAJ's Board of Governors as its Treasurer. He is on the Editorial Board of the Trial Reporter Magazine. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Bar Association of Baltimore City, and Anne Arundel County Bar Association. Mr. Diggs is a on the Executive Committee of the CollegeBound Foundation's Lawyers' Campaign. He was the recipient of the 1995 Maryland Bar Association People's Pro Bono Award. He was recognized in Maryland Super Lawyers' magazine in 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.
